Stage Two
School Year 6 to 8
At this level we nurture the individualism of our students and try and guide them through training and rehearsal making sure we find and celebrate what they bring to the room. We work similar to that of a professional setting but we also stop and embed skills along with way. We work students to a high standard. All while encompassing the fun and excitement of life at TPTA.
Here at TPTA we off two types of membership.
Elite Membership and Single Membership
Elite Membership
£149 per month
Students take five hours of classes each week. Students will take Musical Theatre class and perform in our annual full scale production. However they can choose classes geared more towards Acting or Dance and can pick and choose from the remainder of classes available.
Single Membership
£110 per month
The single membership gives students two (three for dance) hours a week of hands on training that is centred around Musical Theatre, Acting or Dance. Each having its own set of performance oppotunities.

Term One | Preparation
September to December
The preparation term is exactly that. We lock ourselves away in the studio each week teaching students the technical skills they need in each discipline of singing dancing and acting.
Towards the second half of this term we begin working on our projects for next term.

Term Two - Practice
January to April
Here we put our students onto small scale performance situations, a chance to practice their craft prior to the performances term three.

Term Three | Performance
May to July
A lot of time is dedicated to staging our musical. Acting and Dance students will perform in Showcase along with MT students.
Acting and Dance still have technical classes but we switch to production for the final few weeks.
Our main show is ran by professionals, thats a the band, crew and creatives. Giving students the highest quality show possible.
Students who take Musical Theatre classes will all perform in our show week, this is usually the last week of term in July and takes place at The Rose Theatre
Your fees are paid monthly over 12 months of the year, when you join you will pay a deposit equal to one months tuition, this is not refundable. Talking Props trades 37 weeks of the academic year. Six of these weeks (two in January and four in June/July), we come off of our advertised timetable and switch to what we call 'Production weeks'. These weeks include final show rehearsals, technical and dress rehearsals and the performances themselves.
