Senior Company

School Year 9 to 13

At this level, students are usually with us because they want to move forward with a career in the arts or its a hobby they are exceptionally passionate about. Training and rehearsal here is similar to that of a professional setting. We work students to a high standard. All while encompassing the fun and excitement of life at TPTA.

Here at TPTA we off two types of membership.

Elite Membership and Foundation Membership

Elite Membership

£149 per month

Students who upgrade to Elite can take three extra hours of classes each week. They can choose classes geared more towards Acting or Dance and can pick and choose from the extra classes available.

Plus students perform in a winter performance and get extra performances in our Spring showcase.

Thats on top of our whole school showcase performances, Spring competition day and our annual summer musical at the end of the academic year!

Foundation Membership

£99 per month

The foundation membership gives students two hours a week (in terms one and two) then up to six hours a week (in term three) of hands on training that is centred around Musical Theatre. Students will take classes in singing, acting and dance. Giving them a foundational understanding of each craft.

They then get to put all there talent into practice. during term two who our competition day and Spring Showcase.

Term three is when things really step up. Students rehearse in the studio up to three times a week as we work towards our annual summer musical.

Term One | Preparation

September to December

The preparation term is exactly that. We lock ourselves away in the studio each week teaching students the technical skills they need in each discipline of singing dancing and acting.

Towards the second half of this term we begin working on our projects for next term.

Elite Only Project

This can be ether as an Actor in our play or as a dancer for the annual local pantomime. (Both performed in January of next term)

Term Two - Practice

January to April

Here we put our students onto small scale performance situations, a chance to practice their craft prior to the big show in term three.

We kick off this term by finishing rehearsals and then performing in our January projects (Elite only) and March Competition (Elite and Foundation)

We then get straight to work on our showcase. Foundation students, with Elites, will continue work on numbers.

Elite students will perform extra pieces and can choose whether they would like to perform as part of the acting work, the dance work or a little of both.

All this work is performed as part of our showcase in April

Students will also have the chance to audition for our annual summer musical in July as part of audition week which takes place in April.
